Very smooth visit! Was fun! It was our first excursion in Nairobi and Caraluxe did a great job. I messaged them directly and they responded right away every time. I asked for them to pick my brother up at the airport and then pick up me and our father, and they were very communicative and on time picking him up. They used WhatsApp to contact me to coordinate the day of, and it was all very smooth. It ended up being a private tour, which was nice for this situation. Hell's Gate was awesome! Biking through it would be a bit challenging, so we paid extra ($80 USD for 3 people) to upgrade to e-bikes. It took a LOT of negotiation to get that price down even though e-bikes were listed at $25 on the tour page. The scenery of the national park was beautiful and we got our first look into how adorable all the animals were. Our guide also took several photos for us which turned out awesome! Lake Naivasha was fantastic as well. We saw many animals and were out on the water quite far. We had to pay $25/person for the boat tour.

An Unforgettable Adventure at Hell’s Gate & Lake Naivasha! Our day at Hell’s Gate National Park and Lake Naivasha was one of the absolute highlights of our trip to Kenya! It was the perfect combination of adventure, breathtaking scenery, and unforgettable wildlife encounters. Meshack, our driver, and Leki, our guide, were both outstanding. Meshack got us everywhere safely and comfortably, while Leki made the experience exceptional. He helped us choose the perfect bikes before we set off through Hell’s Gate and shared interesting facts about the park, its wildlife, and its history throughout the tour. Leki also went above and beyond as our unofficial photographer and videographer. He was constantly running ahead to capture incredible photos and videos of our family. Thanks to him, we came home with memories we’ll treasure forever. Cycling alongside zebras, antelope, and other wildlife was an experience we’ll never forget. Seeing the towering rock formations that inspired scenes from The Lion King was absolutely surreal and made us appreciate the beauty of the park even more. Our boat ride on Lake Naivasha was the perfect way to end the day. Seeing hippos in their natural habitat and watching the incredible variety of birds up close made for a peaceful and memorable experience. The scenery was stunning, and it was a wonderful contrast to the excitement of biking through Hell’s Gate. If you’re visiting Kenya, this tour is a must. The combination of Hell’s Gate and Lake Naivasha makes for an unforgettable day, and Meshack and Leki made it even more special with their knowledge, kindness, and dedication to making sure our family had the best experience possible.

Half day trip to the National Park Half day trip to the national park with airport transport at the end. Very smooth pick up, friendly guides and driver. National Park with city skyline was excellent. Not many other visitors and we saw lions, giraffe, ostrich, silver monkeys, buffalo, crocodiles, rhinos, hippos and many birds with the setting sun. Kenya Safari This was an out of this world experience. They picked me up from the airport and went right to the Safari. I was able to see 4 of the big 5. We also visited the giraffe center and feed the giraffes. But the Safari was life changing. You never know what animals will appear or where in the park they will be. Hells Gate and Lake Naivasha is a must see We had a great day out with Dismus and Frunk to Lake Naivasha and Hell's Gate National Park. Our guides were very knowledgeable, informative and friendly. We felt like travelling with friends on a day trip and not taking part in a paid activity. This tour was private, so no big groups or anything like that. The guys were on time and made our journey enjoyable. It took about 3 hours to get to the lake. We had a short break mid-way at the Rift Valley viewpoint. Unfortunately, it was misty, but we managed to see the valley. Toilet, coffee, and gift shops were available there. After that, we continued our trip to the lake. We started there as the weather was closing in, and the guys said the lake tends to get heavy rains, so better to go there early. We had a great time at the lake. The weather was perfect, mostly sunny and very warm. We were handed over to the boat team. Our guide knew everything, all birds, all animals. We learned a lot. managed to see plenty of hippos, pelicans, waterbucks, and all sorts of birds. The lake itself is beautiful. I saw some pics before we went, but it was better than expected. After the lake, we went to get some bikes, which were transferred to the park entrance for us. We bought the tickets at the gate (I would recommend buying them a day before online and saving some time that way). The park is great, full of animals, and we got to cycle amongst them. I believe this is the only safari park where one can ride a bike. We went to see the gorge where, surprisingly, some hot springs were visible. Again, we learned a lot about the animals living there. Cycling back is a bit harder as it's mostly going up, so if one is not used to that in the heat, then better to opt for an electric bike. It's also possible to go by car, but what is the fun in that :) We really enjoyed the trip, which was great thanks to our guides. I wish we had more time to spend there with them. An amazing day of adventure!! This was an amazing experience!! Meshack was our driver and one of our guides. We were promptly picked up at our hotel as planned. Everything was well coordinated. The bicycle ride at Hell’s Gate was spectacular!! I hadn’t ridden a bike, in over 20 years, but picked it right back up. Francis ,was our bike guide, and he was fantastic. He was patient with us, as we needed to stop for brief breaks. There was a hike down into a gorge that was unexpected, but we did it!! If you have any stability issues, you’ll want to pass on that, or ask if you can take the stairs. (Stairs were used on the way back up). The boat ride was great and we got to see hippos! Excellent guide for that experience as well. We would highly recommend this tour. It was an amazing day that pushed us physically, but zero regrets, and we do it many times over!! They do offer e-bike options, so you can make it less challenging. Wear long sleeves, pants, hat, and sunscreen. Be sure to put sunscreen on the top of your hands too! Great day!! Amazing time! Douglas and Lekie, our guides were so knowledgeable and so fun! We learned so much and the bike riding was incredible. Saw so many animals so close up. Hippos and zebras and so many birds! Would highly recommend
